In cooperation with our partner “ArneckeSiebold”, a law firm that specializes on the aviation industry, PROLOGIS has been commissioned with conducting a study for the Danish airport Sønderborg. The aim is to analyze the business opportunities of cross-border marketing and eventually plan the complete switch of Sønderborg Airport to take on either a bi-national “Danish/German” status or at least a bi-national label.

In addition to the legal and marketing cornerstones, the study also contained a small survey of around 300 border area- sedentary enterprises that were asked about their travel habits. The next step will be to prepare a detailed concept for the airport aimed at acting on the results that were obtained later on.
